FELT KEEPSAKES

We are proud to use natural and plant-based materials.

With our felt products, we use a felt blend of 20-35% merino wool and rayon (plant-based fiber). Felt material is manufactured in the USA and Italy. 

We use organic wool produced on our farm, felt scraps, or premier USA-grown cotton batting for the stuffing. The sheep's wool has been hand-washed and hand-carded to make the perfect natural filling for your toys.

NO felt toys contain plastics or glue.

FELT CARE

-  Please play with some love. We take pride in the quality of our work, but our felt toys do deserve TLC (tender love and care).

-  For washing, we recommend only doing a very gentle spot clean on the felt with a cold damp cloth. Then allow the felt to completely air dry.

-  Please note that wool is very delicate when wet and will shrink when placed in hot water and agitated. Always handle with care when washing.

-  Felt products are not machine washable nor machine dryable. Neither should they be placed in a dishwasher, microwave, or oven.

WOOD KEEPSAKES

Many pieces come to us unfinished, and we bring it to life more through hand-sanding and an oil finish. Every piece is thoroughly checked by us for safety and quality.

We use only a high-grade, all-natural, and food safe hemp oil to finish our pieces. It is a preservative, addictive, and solvent-free drying oil finish, making it 100% eco-friendly and biodegradable. The oil dries to a matte finish creating a rich, warm, and natural look. Our favorite part is how the wood's unique characteristics become beautifully enhanced in every piece.

We apply between 3 to 4 coats of oil depending on the kind of wood to ensure maximum protection. The hemp oil takes 30 days to cure completely. We do not sell any of our products until they have fully cured. Once cured, the piece is protected from the inside out and is water-resistant. Hemp oil is not reported to cause allergic reactions. We do recommend that super-sensitive individuals do their own evaluation.

WOOL CARE

-  Never soak or immerse any wood toy in the water. Wood is very porous. Soaking can cause staining, swelling, and potentially change its shape.

-  Use a wet cloth for a quick basic cleaning. Wipe gently.

-  For stronger cleaning, use your favorite natural mild soap, vinegar, or non-toxic cleaner diluted with warm water. Wipe gently.

-  Avoid using any harsh chemicals for cleaning. It will cause damage to the oil finish/unfinished wood and can dry the wood out.

-  Wood naturally has an antibacterial quality.

AFTER CLEANING

-  Allow the wood to air dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated area.

-  Place in the sun to speed up drying. The sun is also another natural way to kill more germs. Use caution as strong sunlight and prolonged exposure can lead to bleaching and over-drying of the wood.

-  Our wood finishes should last for years of play. But like all wood, it will need some minimal future care. When the time comes, we recommend using a high-quality hemp drying oil finish.
